1 Dead in Fresno Motorcycle Accident on South Temperance Avenue and East Clemenceau Avenue

FRESNO, CA (February 24, 2026) – Monday afternoon, a person died in a brutal motorcycle crash on South Temperance Avenue and East Clemenceau Avenue.

The incident involving a motorcycle and a garbage truck occurred at about 1:00 p.m. on South Temperance Avenue and East Clemenceau Avenue.

The motorcyclist and a garbage truck were both traveling north on Temperance Avenue.

CHP said the garbage truck driver was making a left turn when the motorcyclist appeared to attempt to pass. The two vehicles then collided.

Officials said the motorcyclist was a man, but his name has not been released.

The garbage truck driver was not reported injured but was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
