Motorcyclist Airlifted in I-40 Multi-Vehicle Crash [San Bernardino, CA]

San Bernardino, CA (June 16, 2025) – A motorcycle rider was airlifted following an I-40 multi-vehicle crash Wednesday morning.

The authorities received that crash report past 11 a.m. on June 25 on westbound freeway near the Kelbaker Road exit.

According to the accident report, a motorcycle rider, a Toyota Camry sedan, and additional car, were involved in the collision.

The impact of the collision threw the rider from the motorcycle and he was found lying in the slow lane.

Due to the severity of the rider’s injuries, a medical helicopter landed at the scene and flew the victim to University Medical Center Southern Nevada. The San Bernardino County Fire Department officers said the rider was conscious and alert while being transported.

Moreover, CHP closed the westbound lanes while they further investigated.
