Police Investigate Fatal Crash on South Lindbergh Boulevard in St.Louis

ST. LOUIS, MO (September 9, 2026)– A motorcyclist died after a crash on South Lindbergh Boulevard with an SUV Wednesday afternoon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Emergency crews responded shortly after 3 p.m. to the area of South Lindbergh Boulevard and Denny Road.

According to the Highway Patrol, a 55-year-old woman was driving an SUV northbound on South Lindbergh Boulevard.

At the same time, a 27-year-old man was riding a motorcycle southbound.

Investigators said the SUV driver attempted to make a left turn onto Geyer Road and failed to yield to the approaching motorcycle.

The front of the motorcycle then struck the right side of the SUV.

Emergency personnel pronounced the 27-year-old motorcyclist dead at the scene.

Authorities have not released additional information about the identity of the rider or whether the SUV driver suffered any injuries.

Further details about the circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately available.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the fatal crash.
