Police Search for Hit-And-Run Driver After Crash on 60 Asilomar Avenue

Pacific Grove, CA (August 20, 2025) – Police in Pacific Grove are searching for the driver of a silver SUV involved in a hit-and-run crash on 60 Asilomar Avenue that occurred Sunday afternoon.

The collision happened at approximately 1:57 p.m. near 60 Asilomar Avenue. 

According to investigators, a newer-model silver SUV with a blue handicap placard hanging from the rearview mirror was traveling southbound on Asilomar Avenue. 

As the SUV attempted to turn left into the cemetery, it struck a motorcycle heading northbound on the same road.

The SUV driver immediately fled the scene before officers arrived. 

The motorcyclist reported minor pain but did not require immediate hospitalization.

Pacific Grove Police are asking anyone with information about the crash or the identity of the SUV driver to call them at 831-648-3143.
