Police Investigate Multi-Vehicle Crash on Colorado Highway 7 Near Boulder

Boulder County, CO (October 3, 2025) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries Friday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash on Colorado Highway 7, also known as Baseline Road.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, the incident occurred around 1:00 p.m. on Highway 7, a major thoroughfare connecting Boulder to Brighton. 

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and confirmed that a motorcycle and a Jeep Wrangler were among the vehicles involved.

The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with serious bodily injuries. Authorities have not released the identity of the rider or further details about the extent of their injuries.

Following the crash, portions of Highway 7 were temporarily closed as investigators worked to document the scene and clear the wreckage. All lanes were reopened just after 3:00 p.m.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and no additional information was immediately available.
