Two Arrested for False Report After High-Speed Crash on Interstate 14 in Killeen

KILLEEN, TX (December 10, 2025) — A 41-year-old motorcyclist remains in critical condition after a high-speed crash on Interstate 14 involving a Ford Mustang and a Suzuki motorcycle.

Killeen police have since arrested two people for providing false information to officers at the scene.

Officers were dispatched to the scene around 2:01 p.m. Tuesday after receiving reports of a major crash. Upon arrival, they found the injured motorcyclist lying in the roadway.

He was quickly airlifted to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in critical but stable condition.

Investigators determined that both the motorcycle and the Mustang were traveling eastbound at high speeds. Witnesses reported the motorcycle weaving between lanes and passing vehicles unsafely.

The Mustang, after passing another vehicle, began to change lanes when it sideswiped the motorcycle. The impact caused the motorcyclist to lose control and crash.

As part of the investigation, authorities learned there were four people inside the Mustang. The driver, a 20-year-old man, and an 18-year-old female passenger allegedly switched seats immediately after the crash to falsely claim she had been driving.

Police charged both individuals with False Report to a Peace Officer, and the man also faces a charge of Driving While License Invalid – Subsequent Offense.

They are currently held in the Killeen City Jail awaiting arraignment.

The investigation is ongoing.
