Police Investigate Motorcycle Crash on West Gentry Parkway in Tyler

Tyler, TX (May 15, 2025) – Motorcyclist sustained injuries in a crash on West Gentry Parkway.

A collision between a motorcycle and another vehicle disrupted traffic on Thursday after police closed a lane on West Gentry Parkway in Tyler. 

Authorities shut down the southbound lane and redirected traffic onto West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Tyler Police Department Sergeant Utley confirmed that emergency responders transported the motorcyclist to the hospital, though he did not have information about the rider’s condition at the time.

At the scene, a white vehicle appeared to have significant front-end damage, with one of its tires knocked off the wheel. 

Tyler police, fire crews, and an ambulance responded promptly to the crash, which was initially reported around 10:20 a.m.
