Motorcycle Crash at Bechelli Lane and South Bonnyview Road Roundabout Under Investigation in Redding

Redding, CA (March 19, 2026) – A motorcyclist sustained injuries in a crash at Bechelli Lane and South Bonnyview Road.

The crash happened on March 17 at about 4:30 p.m., according to the Redding Police Department.

Officers and medical personnel responded to the scene. Police said fire personnel, several bystanders, and a nearby tow truck driver helped free the motorcyclist, who was trapped under the car.

Authorities said the tow truck driver used a jack to lift the vehicle.

Police said the motorcyclist was taken to Mercy Medical Center with injuries ranging from major to moderate. The driver of the vehicle was unharmed.

The Redding Police Traffic Unit is investigating the crash.
