EL PASO, TX (October 24, 2025) — A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries following a crash at John Hayes Street with a vehicle Thursday afternoon in Far East El Paso, according to officials.

The crash occurred at approximately 3:22 p.m. near the intersection of John Hayes Street and Loma Dante, just south of North Zaragoza Road and close to Edgemere Boulevard. 

The El Paso Police Department and Fire Department responded to the scene shortly after the incident was reported.

Emergency responders transported one individual to the hospital in “code 3” condition, a designation typically indicating serious and potentially life-threatening injuries. 

Authorities have not yet confirmed the identity of the injured party or released details about how the crash occurred.

No further information about the condition of the vehicle driver or whether charges are being considered has been made public at this time.
