Police Search for Driver After  Hit-and-Run Crash on 92nd Street in South LA

South Los Angeles, CA (October 12, 2025) – A motorcycle rider was killed early Saturday morning in a suspected hit-and-run crash on 92nd Street and South Broadway, according to LAPD Southeast Division.

The crash occurred around 3:00 a.m., just steps away from a car club event taking place on Broadway, one block north of the accident scene. 

Initial radio traffic described the incident as a fatal hit-and-run, with no suspect vehicle located at the time of reporting.

The motorcycle and rider were found separated—his bike mangled, and his body a short distance away. 

Authorities closed off Broadway in both directions between 92nd and 93rd Streets as investigators examined the scene.

Tragically, the rider’s family members were attending the nearby event and were seen devastated upon learning that their loved one was the victim.

As of now, the LAPD has not released information about the suspect driver or vehicle, and the investigation remains ongoing.
