Rider Dies in Early Morning Crash in Folsom

 
FOLSOM, CA (July 9, 2019) – An unidentified motorcyclist was killed in a traffic crash early Tuesday morning along Glenn Drive.
 
A witness told police a motorcycle took a corner too fast when it crashed. The impact caused consequently fatal injuries to the rider.
 
Westbound Glenn Drive was closed from Sibley Street to Folsom Boulevard while police conducted their investigation. Motorists were also advised to avoid the area.
 
No identifying information has been released at this time. The surrounding area was closed off for a brief time while crews worked to clear the wreckage. However, the roadway has since reopened.
 
Authorities are still piecing together exactly what led up to the crash but do not believe any other vehicles were involved.
