Police Investigate Fatal Motorcycle Crash at Myers Road

LINCOLN COUNTY, MO (December 25, 2025) — A tragic motorcycle crash at Myers Road on Thursday night claimed the life of a 24-year-old man from Elsberry, Missouri, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).

Authorities said the collision occurred at approximately 8:11 p.m. at the intersection of Myers Road and Spielhagen Road. 

According to MSHP’s crash report, a passenger vehicle was making a left turn when it turned directly into the path of the oncoming motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was unable to avoid the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been publicly released pending notification of next of kin.

Emergency responders arrived quickly, but despite their efforts, the young rider succumbed to his injuries. 

The crash remains under investigation, and no additional details regarding contributing factors have been released at this time.

This devastating incident underscores the serious risks motorcyclists face on roadways, particularly at intersections where left-turn collisions are among the most common and deadly scenarios.
