Rider Dies after Crashing into Pickup Truck on La Honda Road
SAN GREGORIO, CA (June 30, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic collision Sunday afternoon in San Gregorio, CHP officials said.
The collision happened around 3:13 p.m. on La Honda Road, also known as Highway 84.
The rider, a man in his mid-30s, was heading westbound on La Honda Road when he ran into the hood of a gray Dodge Ram turning from eastbound La Honda Road onto a private driveway.
The rider suffered a broken leg and serious internal injuries. He was airlifted to Stanford Medical Center, where he was declared dead.
Further details, including the identity of the deceased, were not immediately available. At this time, police did not release any additional information regarding the details of the accident. However, the incident remains under investigation.
