Police Investigate Fatal Crash on Sunrise Boulevard in Rancho Cordova
Rancho Cordova, CA (October 11, 2025) – A motorcyclist died Friday evening following a crash on Sunrise Boulevard, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes between Trade Center and Sun Center Drives. Emergency responders from the Rancho Cordova Police Department arrived quickly on scene.
The motorcycle rider was transported to a nearby hospital with major injuries, but despite life-saving efforts, he later succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities have not released the name of the victim pending family notification. They are advising drivers to avoid the area and take alternate routes while the investigation continues.
