Two People Hospitalized After Crash on Highway 50 in Gasconade County

Gasconade County, MO (October 11, 2025) – Two motorcyclists were injured—one seriously—after a crash on Highway 50 involving a pickup truck near Missouri 28 in Gasconade County Friday afternoon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred when a 2021 Ford Ranger, driven by a 63-year-old man from St. Robert, was heading westbound on Highway 50. 

As the driver entered a turn lane, he moved into the path of an eastbound Harley Davidson Ultra carrying a 65-year-old man and a 65-year-old female passenger, both from Bonner Springs, Kansas.

The motorcycle struck the side of the truck, throwing both the rider and passenger onto the roadway.

Emergency crews transported the female passenger by airlift to Mercy St. Louis Hospital with serious injuries. 

The male rider was transported by ambulance with minor injuries. The driver of the Ford Ranger was not injured in the crash.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
