Violent Multi-Car Collision on 162nd Avenue Injures 2 People [Vancouver, WA]

Vancouver, WA (April 21, 2025) – Injuries are reported after a frightening multi-car collision on 162nd Avenue before noon Saturday.

Vancouver police say that the shocking incident happened at around 11:30 a.m. near Northeast 162nd Avenue and Northeast 7th Street.

Reports say that the high-speed crash involved three vehicles, the collision sent two people to the hospital on Saturday, one of whom remains in critical condition.

Vancouver police and firefighters responded to a collision They found significant damage to a Subaru Impreza, a Honda Civic, and a Subaru Forester.

Investigators determined that the Impreza driver, traveling northbound at high speed, lost control and skidded sideways for approximately 200 feet. The vehicle hit the center median, jumped the curb, and landed on top of a Honda Civic before striking a Subaru Forester that was following the Civic.

Paramedics transported the Impreza driver with serious injuries and the Forester driver, who suffered multiple fractures and a broken vertebra, to the hospital. The Civic driver sustained minor cuts and did not need medical care.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
