Three Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving School Bus on Highway 52 in Longmont
Longmont, CO (November 12, 2025) — 3 people were hospitalized Monday evening after a multi-car collision on Highway 52 involving a school bus.
According to authorities, the horrific collision happened at around 4:30 p.m. on Highway 52 near the Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center.
Mountain View Fire Rescue reported that the collision occurred and involved three passenger vehicles and a school bus. Two vehicles sustained heavy damage, while another had only minor damage.
The bus driver, who was the only person on board, drove through a nearby field to avoid the crash and struck a gate and power pole. United Power crews responded to secure the downed power lines. The bus driver was not injured.
Authorities closed Highway 52 between County Line Road and 115th Avenue as emergency crews cleared the scene. The conditions of the three injured individuals have not yet been released.
