Monterey County, CA (March 17, 2025) – A multi-car crash near Front Street claimed the life of 25-year-old Uriel Morales and left multiple people injured Sunday evening.

According to authorities, the three-vehicle collision on southbound Highway 101 happened around 7:44 p.m.

Reports say that a Subaru Impreza carrying three men from Salinas was involved, with the driver, Morales, and the front passenger ejected from the vehicle.

Morales died at the scene, while the front passenger suffered major injuries. The rear passenger sustained minor injuries and remained inside the car.
