DAYTON, TX (April 3, 2026) – Wednesday night, a devastating multi-car crash on Grand Parkway Tollway near County Road 603 killed 3 people.

The incident involving three vehicles happened at around 9:00 p.m. on the Grand Parkway tollway near County Road 603.

Crews responded to a three-vehicle crash and found three people trapped inside the wreckage. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities said a Ford F-150 traveling south on SH-99 crossed the center line into northbound traffic. It sideswiped a Ford F-250, which had minor damage and a flat tire, before colliding head-on with a northbound Lincoln SUV.

Investigators said the F-150 driver, along with a 17-year-old driving the Lincoln and the teen’s mother, who was a passenger, were killed.

Officials said the F-250 was carrying a man and his four children, who were not seriously injured.

The roadway was shut down for more than five hours while crews investigated and cleared the scene. Authorities have not released the identities of those involved.
