SLO County, CA (March 6, 2026) — On Wednesday afternoon, 2 people suffered injuries following a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 1 in southern San Luis Obispo County.

Authorities say that the collision occurred around 3:44 p.m. near Sheridan Road in the unincorporated community of Callender.

Officials received reports that several vehicles were involved on both sides of Highway 1, with another vehicle near Sheridan Road.

Emergency responders arrived to find the occupants already out of their vehicles. One driver was reportedly lying on the ground beside his vehicle following the crash.

Paramedics located two injured individuals at the scene, both suffering moderate injuries. One of the victims was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria for further treatment.
