Sacramento, CA (June 08, 2025) – A frightening multi-vehicle collision on Florin Road left a person dead at the scene.

According to authorities, the deadly 7-vehicle crash happened around 10:15 a.m. at Florin Road and Greenhaven.

Reports say that a police pursuit in Sacramento ended in tragedy Saturday morning when a fleeing domestic violence suspect caused a seven-vehicle crash, killing an uninvolved driver.

Sacramento Police responded to a civil standby call on Farm Dale Way, where a woman, previously reporting domestic violence, sought help to retrieve her belongings. Officers located the suspect near the residence, but he fled in a vehicle when they tried to stop him.

During the chase, the suspect sped through traffic and crashed into multiple vehicles. The collision killed an uninvolved motorist at the scene. After the crash, the suspect fled on foot but officers quickly apprehended him. Authorities confirmed the suspect had an active domestic violence warrant and was a parolee at large.
