According to Los Angeles police, the shocking incident happened just before 11 p.m. in the Pico-Union District.

Reports say that several cars slammed into a restaurant supply business near Washington Boulevard and Vermont Avenue.

LAPD said the collision involved a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s K-9 vehicle. The crash caused extensive damage to the side of the business, which also has apartments above it. Debris scattered across the street and sidewalk, and crews worked overnight to board up broken windows.
