VERMONT VISTA, CA (September 14, 2026) – Sunday afternoon, a startling multi-vehicle crash on 11900 S Figueroa Street sent 7 people to the hospital.

The incident involving three cars and a LAFD truck happened at about 2:30 p.m. in the 11900 block of South Figueroa Street.

A person had to be extricated from a vehicle after a crash involving a fire truck that was responding to a medical emergency, officials said.

Aerial footage showed the crash occurred near a bar and liquor store. The Los Angeles Police Department also responded and is investigating the collision.

Traffic delays were expected in the area.
