Injuries Reported in San Antonio Multi-Vehicle Accident on 9000 Interstate Highway 35

SAN ANTONIO, TX (March 22, 2026) – Early Saturday morning, a startling multi-vehicle crash on 9000 Intestate Highway 35 sent 3 people to the hospital.

The incident happened at about 6:00 a.m. in the 9000 block of Interstate Highway 35 Southbound, near the Cassin Road bridge.

Police said a southbound Ford F-150 traveling at a high speed rear-ended a Toyota Tacoma, forcing it into a grassy median and onto an access road. The Tacoma then struck a metal barrier on a bridge, blocking two lanes.

Shortly after, a semi-truck collided with the back of the Ford F-150.

Authorities said the driver of the Ford left before emergency crews arrived.

Two passengers from the Ford, a 25-year-old man and a 17-year-old, and the 37-year-old Tacoma driver were taken to a nearby hospital.
