NIPOMO, CA (January 13, 2026) – Monday afternoon, a disastrous multi-vehicle crash on Highway 101 near Tefft Street injured four people.

The incident happened at around 3:57 p.m. on Highway 101 near the southbound Tefft Street off-ramp.

CHP said that the crash involved four vehicles, including a vehicle that crashed through the fence onto the Frontage Road.

Responders transported four people to a hospital with unknown injuries.

The crash blocked the number 1 lane of Highway 101 but has long since reopened.
