1 Person Dead in Arlington Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 30 near Fielder Road

ARLINGTON, TX (May 24, 2026) – Saturday morning, a tragic multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 30 near Fielder Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 3:45 a.m. on Interstate 30 near Fielder Road.

According to reports, the Dodge Avenger, traveling at a high rate of speed, rear-ended a white passenger sedan. Then, the force of the crash pushed the sedan off the roadway and struck a parked vehicle. Then, a westbound 18-wheeler failed to stop in time and struck the Avenger, ejecting a passenger from the car in the process.

Moreover, responders rushed both the driver and passenger of the Avenger to a local hospital, where the passenger was later pronounced dead. Also, officers said that the driver of the white sedan sustained minor injuries in the crash.

Furthermore, officers believe that impairment played a role in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
