5 People Hurt in Newman Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 5 near Stuhr Road

NEWMAN, CA (June 25, 2026) – Sunday night, a disastrous multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 near Stuhr Road injured five people.

The incident happened at around 11:50 p.m. on Interstate 5 near Stuhr Road.

According to reports, a 2013 Honda sedan traveling at high speed rear-ended a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox. Then, a southbound Toyota Camry collided with the disabled Honda. Also, about 10 minutes later, a southbound 2022 Nissan SUV struck the disabled Honda.

Moreover, the force of the crash pushed the Nissan off the roadway and down an embankment.

Furthermore, responders transported five occupants of the Nissan to a local hospital with minor injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the California Highway Patrol continued its investigation into the incident.
