Ferndale, WA (September 29, 2025) — On Sunday evening, a multi-vehicle crash on Olson Road left a motorcyclist dead and several others were injured.

According to authorities, the collision happened around 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of Mountain View Road and Olson Road.

Deputies reported that a car and two motorcycles were involved. The motorcyclist died at the scene, while the car’s two occupants sustained serious injuries and were rushed to PeaceHealth St. Joseph’s Medical Center. The second motorcyclist was also hospitalized with injuries.

The intersection remained closed for an extended time as authorities investigated. The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office is leading the case, with assistance from Ferndale Police and local fire crews.
