Alvin Gilbert Arrested after Alarming Multi-Vehicle Crash on Raymond Stotzer Parkway [College Station, TX]

COLLEGE STATION, TX (October 5, 2025) – Friday afternoon, Alvin Gilbert was arrested in a multi-vehicle crash on Raymond Stotzer Parkway.

The incident involving a dump truck and multiple other vehicles occurred at about 2:00 p.m. on Raymond Stotzer Parkway and FM 2818 near Easterwood Airport.

Around 6 p.m., Colorado Springs Police confirmed that an arrest had been made in connection with the crash.

The driver of the dump truck, identified as 60-year-old Alvin Gilbert of College Station, was booked into the Brazos County Jail on a charge of reckless driving. Police said Gilbert also had active warrants from other counties.

One person was seriously injured and taken to a nearby hospital. Eastbound lanes of Raymond Stotzer Parkway were closed while officers investigated.
