Injuries Reported in Pomona Multi-Vehicle Accident on San Bernardino Freeway and Orange Freeway

POMONA, CA (June 4, 2026) – Wednesday morning, an alarming multi-vehicle crash on San Bernardino Freeway and Orange Freeway injured 6 people.

The incident happened at around 4:55 a.m. on the westbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway just east of the Orange (57) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The carpool lane and four main lanes were closed while officers responded and Los Angeles County Fire Department crews treated the injured.

Six patients, including one in critical condition, were transported to hospitals, according to a fire department spokesperson.

One westbound lane was reopened around 6 a.m., and all lanes were cleared by about 7 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
