Laclede County, MO (August 9, 2026) — Four people suffered injuries in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 5 near Hazel Road Friday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2025 Nissan Pathfinder was turning left when a 2004 Toyota Camry struck it from behind. The impact pushed the Nissan into the southbound lane, where it collided with a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox.

The 28-year-old Lebanon man driving the Toyota sustained serious injuries. The Nissan driver, a 53-year-old Lebanon woman, and two occupants of the Chevrolet—a 24-year-old Eldridge woman and a 4-year-old boy—suffered minor injuries.

Medics transported everyone involved to area hospitals. Authorities said all four people were wearing seat belts.
