Myunique Johnson and 3 Others Killed in 2-Car Crash on Highway 87 [Hartley County, TX]

Hartley County, TX (November 7, 2025) — 20-year-old Myunique Johnson and 3 others lost their lives in a tragic collision on US 87 Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal crash happened around 1:40 p.m. on US 87 south of Dalhart.

Reports say that a southbound semi-truck collided with the rear of a Nissan Altima that was moving slowly due to a flat tire.

The impact killed all four occupants of the Altima at the scene. They were identified as Johnson of Stratford, 18-year-old Lakeisha Brown of Galveston, 31-year-old Breanna Brantley of Rosharon, and 28-year-old Taylor White of Missouri City.

The semi-truck driver, 39-year-old Daniel Villarreal Guadalupe of Converse, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Coon Memorial Hospital in Dalhart for treatment.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
