Gardena, CA (November 5, 2024) On Saturday morning, 19-year-old Nazim Abdellali Lawndale was killed in a tragic rollover crash on Rosecrans Avenue.

According to the Gardena Police Department (GPD), the fatal accident happened at about 6:30 a.m. east of Crenshaw Boulevard.

Reports say that Abdellali was pronounced dead at the scene by the county Department of Medical Examiner and Gardena police.

During the investigation, the driver of another vehicle involved in the collision returned to the crash site. Gardena officers subsequently arrested this driver for leaving the scene.
