NB I-680 Collision Kills San Jose Woman [San Jose, CA]

CHP Searches for Suspect Driver in San Jose Deadly Hit-and-Run Crash

San Jose, CA (March 8, 2026) – A 63-year-old San Jose woman lost her life following a NB I-680 collision past Friday midnight.

It was around 1:30 a.m. when the deadly hit-and-run crash happened on the freeway’s northbound offramp toward Alum Rock Avenue.

Responding officers found the victim suffering from her injuries lying on the road.

Immediately, the woman was rushed to a hospital where she was declared dead.
