Passenger Dies After Off-Road Vehicle Crashes Into Kings County Canal

Kings County, CA (August 18, 2025) — A fatal vehicle accident on Jackson Avenue claimed one life Friday night after an off-road vehicle plunged into a canal.

The California Highway Patrol said the incident happened just after 10 p.m. near Jackson and 5 1/2 avenues. A passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
