Motorcycle Officer HUrt in Traffic Collision on Jim Miller Road [Dallas, TX]

Dallas, TX (December 13, 2023) On Tuesday, a hit-and-run traffic collision on Jim Miller Road left a motorcycle officer with injuries.

According to the Dallas Police Department, the hit-and-run crash happened on N. Jim Miller Road, near Military Parkway.

Reports say that the officer was trying to pull over a Black Dodge Challenger, however, the Dodge instead sped away from the traffic stop, consequently hitting the motorcycle officer.

Officials say that the officer suffered injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Authorities are searching for the suspect driver and vehicle described as vehicle with faded, matte paint on the hood, blacked out taillights, custom tail pipes and a baseball hat on the dashboard. Police says that the license plate on the car was found not to be registered to the Challenger.
