Injuries Reported in Castle Hills Auto Accident on Loop 410 near Honeysuckle Lane

CASTLE HILLS, TX (June 18, 2026) – Wednesday morning, a startling vehicle crash on Loop 410 near Honeysuckle Lane sent a police officer to the hospital.

The incident happened at about 4:40 a.m. in the 2000 block of Loop 410 near Honeysuckle Lane.

According to the Castle Hills Police Department, officers were investigating a single-vehicle crash on the left shoulder of the 2000 block of Loop 410. The driver involved in the initial crash had moved to the right shoulder with a parent who arrived at the scene.

Police said a sedan later struck a patrol vehicle that had been positioned at an angle on the right shoulder to block a lane. An officer who was standing outside the patrol vehicle suffered minor injuries and was transported to a hospital as a precaution.

Authorities have not released the officer’s identity. The investigation remains ongoing, and it is unclear whether the sedan driver will face charges.
