Police Investigate Crash Into Stars Hamburgers in Eureka

Eureka, CA (October 10, 2025) – Emergency crews responded to a dramatic crash into Stars Hamburgers at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Munson Street around 5:00 p.m. Friday.

Photos from the scene show a silver sedan with major front and rear-end damage, stopped just feet from the restaurant’s entrance.

According to reports, a second vehicle also struck a fire hydrant during the incident.

Firefighters and paramedics worked quickly to extricate the driver, an older woman, who was trapped inside the damaged sedan.

Medical personnel staged a stretcher and emergency equipment nearby as traffic officers shut down surrounding streets to manage congestion.

Scanner traffic confirmed that police were requested to block off traffic at Buhne and Harrison, near Ramone’s, to ensure the safety of the scene and assist with traffic flow.

The woman was placed on a stretcher and transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of her injuries is currently unknown.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
