65-Year-Old Woman Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Red Mountain Pass

Ouray County, CO (August 27, 2025) — 65-year-old Olga Kramar lost her life in a motorcycle crash Saturday on Highway 550 near mile marker 90 on Red Mountain Pass.

Authorities identified the victim as Kramar, who lived in both Mountain Village and Phoenix.

The Ouray County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation, while the coroner’s office awaits autopsy and toxicology results to determine the cause of death. Toxicology testing, a routine procedure in fatal crashes, typically takes six to eight weeks.

This marks the second deadly crash on Red Mountain Pass this month.
