One Dies in Ford Ranger VS Volkswagen Jetta Crash on Interstate 5 [San Diego, CA]

San Diego, CA (April 12, 2022) – On Tuesday, a person dies and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 5.

It was about 11 a.m. when the a Ford Ranger and Volkswagen Jetta collided on the freeway’s southbound lanes. Officers say it was near Coronado Avenue in Otay Mesa.

Immediately, the emergency team took two injured people to UC San Diego Medical Center, wherein the authorities declared one of them dead.

 Officers are investigating this fatal crash.
