One Dies in Pedestrian Accident on Cajalco Road [Perris, CA]

Vehicle and Pedestrian Involved in Fatal Collision near Carpinus Drive

 
PERRIS, CA (February 12, 2020) – One person died in a pedestrian accident on Cajalco Road early Wednesday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Carpinus Drive at approximately 6:40 PM.
 
Reports only showed that an unidentified vehicle fatally struck the victim. It was not clear if the collision occurred at a crosswalk.
 
An attending coroner from the Riverside County Coroner’s Office confirmed the victim’s death at the scene; however, an identity has yet to be released.
 
No further information was provided. Nevertheless, the investigation into the accident is still ongoing.
