Person Killed in Shooting That Led to SUV and Semi-Truck Crash on Power Inn Road

 
Sacramento, CA (January 26, 2021) – On Sunday, a person died in a tragic shooting that led to SUV and semi-truck crash on Power Inn Road.
 
The authorities received the incident report before 6:30 p.m. about gunshots near Gerber Road.
 
Apparently, just after the gunshots, an SUV driving east on Gerber Road crashed into a semi-truck.
 
Afterward, another caller said they stopped at the incident scene to provide aid to a gunshot victim.
 
Unfortunately, one SUV occupant suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
On the other hand, the female SUV occupant was not injured.
 
Meanwhile, the sheriff’s office said, the shots came from another vehicle that immediately fled the scene.
 
Though, it’s not identified how many people were in the suspect’s vehicle or if it was a targeted shooting.
