1 Hospitalized After Crash on Highway 18 at Camp Rock Road 

Lucerne Valley, CA (November 13, 2025) – A head-on crash on Highway 18 involving two vehicles left at least one person injured Thursday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred around 5:24 p.m. on November 13, 2025. CHP and the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the scene, where they found both vehicles— a white Ford F-150 pickup truck towing a trailer and a black SUV—fully engulfed in flames due to crash impact.

First responders quickly shut down a portion of Highway 18 to allow emergency crews to secure the area and treat the injured. 

One person was transported by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital. The full extent of their injuries remains unknown at this time.

The circumstances leading up to the crash are still under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Victorville Office. 

Officials have not confirmed how many individuals were involved or the exact cause of the collision.

There is no word yet on when the road will be fully reopened. Authorities continue to investigate.
