Fatal Afternoon Crash on Travis Boulevard in Fairfield

 
FAIRFIELD, CA (July 24, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a traffic collision Wednesday afternoon in Fairfield.
 
The collision happened around 12:36 p.m., on Travis Boulevard near Texas Street off-ramp.
 
Details are currently sparse on who was involved and what exactly transpired to cause the collision. However, there was at least one fatality as a result of the accident.
 
Officers also shut down the off-ramp for about an hour and a half while the investigation was conducted. However, the roadway has since reopened.
