Pedestrian Dead in Towne Avenue Accident
Los Angeles, CA (February 27, 2026) – The authorities arrested Orlando Larios, 22, following a Ninth Street fatal crash early Thursday morning.
The deadly pedestrian crash happened past 2 a.m. at the intersection with Towne Avenue.
Investigators said the 37-year-old pedestrian was walking south on Ninth Street when a red Nissan Kicks that was traveling east in the westbound lanes struck him.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics declared the pedestrian deceased at the crash scene.
Moreover, officers determined Larios was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage at the time of the accident. They arrested and booked him on suspicion of felony DUI
