Officers Search for Suspect Driver in Lee Acres Deadly Crash

San Juan County, NM (August 12, 2026) – Orson Bahe, 39, of Farmington, was fatally injured following a U.S. 64 hit-and-run crash early Saturday.

The authorities responded past 2 a.m. on August 8 to the fatal crash at the intersection with County Road 5267 in Lee Acres.

Officers said the victim was hit by a silver vehicle, either a Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger or Magnum. They ask the public’s help in locating the involved vehicle with heavy front-end damage and ask anyone who may have details to contact San Juan County non-emergency dispatch at (505) 334-6622.
