Valencia, CA (August 27, 2025) Authorities arrested 37-year-old Oscar Martinez after a three-vehicle collision on Highway 126 that sent multiple people to the hospital Friday afternoon.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the shocking incident happened around 5 p.m. on eastbound Highway 126 west of Interstate 5.

Reports say that a red Cadillac, silver Toyota, and white Dodge blocking several lanes. Los Angeles County firefighters extricated one driver who was trapped in their vehicle.

Officials say that one driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI causing injury. Several victims were transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital with injuries ranging from minor to major.

The driver of the Dodge, identified as Oscar Fidel Andrade Martinez of Ontario, was also taken to the hospital before being booked into the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station on felony DUI charges.

The crash remains under investigation, and additional charges may follow.
