SDCSD says that the high-speed crash happened just after midnight, in Imperial Beach west of State Route 75.

Reports say that an eastbound Toyota RAV-4 was traveling at high speed when the driver lost control and rolled the Toyota multiple times.

Officials say that the wheels of the RAV-4 struck a south curb line, causing the driver to lose control. Rescuers pulled a male and female minor out of the wreck. 

Paramedics transported both patients to the hospital with “serious collision-related injuries.” 

Deputies are investigating the rollover accident and believed that speed is the primary factor in the Palm Avenue rollover accident.
