Pascual Reyes Dies in Accident on Highway 101 and San Martin Avenue [San Martin, CA]

Man Struck and Killed by Car on Highway 101

 
SAN MARTIN, CA (June 4, 2020) – Early Wednesday morning, Pascual Reyes died in an accident on Highway 101 in San Martin.
 
The incident occurred at around 5:30 a.m. after the driver stopped his vehicle in the center driver.
 
Then, he walked across the southbound lanes, probably towards the vehicle that had stopped onto the right shoulder, CHP Officer Chris Miceli revealed.
 
The California Highway Patrol revealed that 66-year-old Pascual Iboa Reyes then crossed the lanes of traffic on Highway 101, south of San Martin Avenue.
 
Meanwhile, Thoy To Te Li, the driver of a 2012 Toyota Corolla, traveled southbound on the freeway at an unknown speed.
 
As he approached the Pascual Reyes, he became unable to halt his vehicle, and hit the man. As a result, Mr. Reyes sustained fatal injuries.
 
Furthermore, the police do not believe that alcohol and drugs played a role in the crash.
