Ford Passenger Airlifted in Motor Grader Crash on E County 14th Street [Wellton, AZ]

Wellton, AZ (June 19, 2026) – Four people were injured following a motor grader crash on E County 14th Street Wednesday afternoon.

The vehicle collision happened before 2:30 p.m. in the desert area of El Camino del Diablo.

Investigators said a motor grader was traveling north when the operator moved to the right to allow a northbound vehicle to pass.

A Ford F-150 rear-ended the motor grader after the northbound vehicle passed.

Rescuers said the front passenger of the Ford sustained critical injuries and was airlifted by Care Flight to a Phoenix hospital.

Moreover, the operator of the motor grade, and the Ford’s driver and third passenger, were transported to Onvida Health with non-life-threatening injuries.
